Mirella and Luise ‘s Sponsored Run for Walkabout!

Together, on June 29th 2018, we will be organizing and hosting a sponsored run in our school in Cologne, Germany.

We are encouraging all of the years in our school, from Junior to Senior, to partake and help us raise enough money to build 3 wheelchairs for people in desperate need in the developing world (that’s only £750!).

For every individual who partakes, we ask that they pay a 2 euro entry fee, which will go directly into our fundraising pot.

Should you be a fellow student, a friend, or a parent of a participant, and would like to donate, simply click on the donate button below.

Thank you so much for visiting our page and supporting us in our mission to help change lives. We could simply not do it without your support!

Victoria Terracciano’s 21st Birthday!

Dear Friends and Family,

On the 10th December I will be celebrating turning 21. On this occasion, instead of receiving gifts, I would like for you all to donate to Walkabout Foundation, in honour of my birthday!

My aim is to give back to those that are suffering from mobility disabilities around the world, and would love to have your help in this mission!

I would like to announce how much we have managed to raise, together, during my party on the 16th December – so please help me in making this announcement a big one! 🙂

Thank you so much, from me, the Walkabout Foundation and their beneficiaries whose lives you will help change!

Walkabout Foundation’s Monthly Giving

Walkabout is proud to announce it’s launch of our monthly giving initiative, whereby you can support a person in need in the developing world.

Please support us throughout the year by signing up to our monthly giving! Here is what £20, £50, £100 a month can accomplish:

£20 a month could buy a custom fitted, locally repairable wheelchair for a woman with a disability.

£50 a month could pay to teach 65 mothers of children with disabilities how best to look after their little ones, through the Mother Training Programme at the JJ Walkabout Centre in India.

£100 a month could pay for a wheelchair and a full year’s worth of specialised rehabilitation for a child at the Walkabout Day Care & Support Centre in Kenya, allowing his or her mother to return to work with the knowledge that their child is being cared for.
