Andrei Secuesu’s London Walkabout 2011

Dear friends, i want to raise money and walk for this cause :

http://www.espnstar.com/football/news/detail/item620211/

Romanian football player Mihai Nesu suffered a horror-injury during practice at his dutch football club FC Utrecht. A teammate landed on his head and broke one cervical vertebra after a sliding tackle. He was one of Romania’s most appreciated football players for his good spirit, hard work, modesty and fighting spirit.

So,
Join us for a 15 kilometer walk on Saturday June 18th around Hyde Park, Green Park, and St. James’s Park to raise money to donate wheelchairs to people in need in the developing world.

It’s free to join the walk but our dream target is one wheelchair raised per walker (that’s £200 pounds or $300 dollars). However, every pound makes a difference. Here’s what the money you raise can buy:

£10 = front wheel
£21 = back rest
£30 = main frame

Join us for a 15 kilometer walk on Saturday June 18th at 10:00 am (with an option of doing a shorter 5k walk) around Hyde Park, Green Park, and St. James’s Park to raise money to donate wheelchairs to people in need in the developing world.

The walk will commence at Hyde Park’s Band Stand. Email londonwalkabout@thewalkaboutfoundation.org to register. You will receive all details in an email once you’ve registered.

It’s free to join the walk but we encourage participants to fundraise any amount they can, whether its £200 pounds (or $300 dollars) for an entire wheelchair or just a few pounds for wheelchair parts. KX GYM is our headline sponsor, which means 100 percent of all funds raised go directly to the cause. Here’s what the money you raise can buy:

£21 = back rest
£30 = main frame

Andrei Secuesu’s 2016 Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100

I’m so excited (and scared, when I think of Biggin Hill !!! ) to be taking part in the amazing RideLondon 100 cycling race with the Walkabout Team on July 31st.

Even though I have not trained AT ALL for this (except for my daily 5 minute bike ride to the tube station…), I hope I will be able to pull it off again, as I did last year.

Please support Walkabout’s amazing cause and my 100 mile race.
