Carolina and Luis Gonzalez-Bunster’s WALK ON THE WILD SIDE

We are so excited to be walking 5k in Regent’s Park for Walkabout Foundation again! Please support our cause!

Diego Gonzalez-Bunster’s 2015 Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100

This Sunday on August 2nd, I will be riding 100 miles in the Prudential Ride London-Surrey, in honor of Walkabout Foundation for the second consecutive year. I ask you from the bottom of my heart to please lend your hand in helping me and Walkabout Foundation change the lives of people who are paralyzed around the world. As some of you may know, my older brother Luis suffered a life changing car accident at the age of 18 leaving him paralyzed from the chest down. With the love and support of my family, Luis has been fortunate enough to receive great medical care, wheelchair access, and rehabilitation services. But there are too many people who do not have access to these resources, leaving them in dire need of our assistance. With your help, we can make a real difference in helping people regain their mobility by granting them with the simple gift of a wheelchair. As President Clinton said at Walkabout’s Inaugural Gala this year, “It’s not just mobility, it’s possibility, it’s dignity.” When you see someone using a wheelchair, living their life and contributing to their communities and their families, you can tell yourself that you were part of that change. One day when paralysis is a figment of the past, you can be proud that you had a hand in helping find the cure. I hope you join me in contributing to this beautiful cause as I ride 100 miles for those who cannot. Help my brother and all those around the world walk again. Together we will cure paralysis one step at a time.
