Lauren’s Build a Wheelchair Page

Ok guys, this is what we’re doing instead of Secret Santa, instead of stockings, instead of Christmas cards and festive drinks this year. So for anyone who was in the least interested in giving me a present, please pay it forward to someone who needs it more.

It costs just £200 to fit someone in a developing country with a customized wheelchair so they don’t have to drag themselves along the ground to school or work, or live a life confined to their beds.

If each of you gives just £1, we will have enough to provide a wheelchair for one lucky person. If you all give what you can, who knows what we can achieve.

Help give someone their freedom and independence this Christmas.

Thank you, and happy holidays!

Diana Mac-Donald’s Build a Wheelchair Page

A friend in Pakistan ask me for help. 2 people are in need. they need a wheelchair to go out and have some fun with people. There condition is that the man his hand are disable and he cannot stand. The woman her legs are to tight to one and other and others have to carry both of them arround. They don’t go out and there surrounding friend are helping them. The 2 wheelchairs would make there life beter and they would have more contact with people arround them.

I hope you can help to make there wish come true and there life much better.

I thank you for your donation & help

Adam’s Build a Wheelchair Page

In April 2013 I ran the London Marathon for the MS Society and with generous donations from my friends, family and co-workers we managed to raise an amazing amount. It was the single most rewarding experience of my life, having felt powerless growing up and watching the heartbreaking effects of MS on my mum.

No matter how bad my mum’s situation was, I always felt lucky that we were able to live in a country where there was such good support available from the government. However, there are millions of disabled people around the world who are suffering and not able to get the same kind of support from their welfare systems. This is why for my next marathon, I have chosen to raise money for the Walkabout Foundation, a non-profit organization that focuses on funding research to find a cure for paralysis and donating wheelchairs to people in need around the developing world.

On November 2nd I will be running the New York City marathon. I have fully funded this myself so 100% of any donations will go directly towards the Walkabout Foundation’s projects. For every £200 we raise, a rugged-terrain wheelchair will be donated to someone who needs the life-changing independence it can offer.

Please help to raise money for this brilliant cause, and let’s help change the lives of those who need it the most.
