WALK ON THE WILD SIDE

  • October 27 2012

For the second year in a row, Walkabout Foundation is organizing a city walkabout, a 5k Halloween costume walk in central London on Saturday, October 27th, 2012. A prize will be awarded for the best costume! Bring your friends and family and join us to raise funds to find a cure for paralysis and donate wheelchairs to people in need around the world. Walk for people that cannot walk, walk and change a life, walk and donate a wheelchair to someone in need.
Join us for “WALK ON THE WILD SIDE,” a 5k Halloween costume walk tomorrow Saturday October 27th in London’s Regent’s Park to raise money to donate wheelchairs to people in need! Just arrive by 9:30 AM for Registration at Cumberland Green in Regent’s Park (located by Broad Walk entrance to Regent’s Park off of Chester Road, between Inner and Outer Circles). Just drop-by even if you haven’t registered.

Amazing goody bags from our sponsors KX, Net-A-Porter, Lola’s Cupcakes, Jax Coco, Upcakes, ASDA, Olympic and Paralympic athletes, face painting and trick-or-treating along the way!

It’s free to join the walk but we encourage participants to fundraise any amount they can, whether its £200 pounds (or $300 dollars) for an entire wheelchair or just a few pounds for wheelchair parts. KX Life is our headline sponsor, which means 100 percent of all funds raised go directly to the cause. Here’s what the money you raise can buy:

£10 = front wheel
£21 = back rest
£30 = main frame

We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.
